NOA1 and 2 Who? What? When?

hi guys! ive been going thru topics with regards to Notice of Action letters. Ive noticed that some members' fiance who lives abroad also received a NOA1. If this is the case, should i be worried that my fiance has not received his in his neck of the woods? and if they were to receive it, can anyone give me a guesstimate as to when they would receive their NOA1? i was under the impression that as for NOA1 and NOA2, the petitioner would be the only one to receive these notifications and after it has been approved, then it shall be forwarded to the beneficiary's country's consulate and thats when the beneficiary receives all these paperwork and requirements?

I hope you guys can help me with this question. im such a worry wart....

THANKS MUCH :)

The NOA1, NOA2, and notice from NVC (some get this, some don't) go to the USC only -- I personally have not heard of any non-USC getting their own copies. *shrug*

Once the petition gets to the consulate, all paperwork then goes to the non-USC.

PS. Relax. :)

Hey, you are amongst a group of people that completely understands! :) Just don't get too stressed out too early, you have a ways to go yet -- save it for the big stuff, like waiting. ;)

Both of you can sign up at https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp and get email alerts when the status changes. You can also see when your case gets touched. Good luck to you both!!

Yeah tell me about it. Somehow VERMONT Service Center seems to be working double time on the petitions. just read one thread where mike already got his NOA2.... lucky KIDS! :D

i know exactly how you feel! anxiety is a killer! hahah... good thing ive been busy at work otherwise id probably just stare at the USCIS email notification thing all day. switching back and fourth from VJ and USCIS.

Thank you! Will do that definitely. Luckily i have been pretty good at keeping papework... so much for my obsessive compulsive side.... haha! i guess it's good sometimes... add to that my constant checking of my mailbox.... email and snail mail...

Thank you so much guys... its nice to know that there are people who are in the same boat as i and my fiance.... and who care enough to give encouraging words and sound advices...
