Not even get along?

Also, what about grilled chicken made in your own home on some lovely wholegrain bread with an heirloom tomato and a smear of aioli?

Get along with people, I do to the extent that it comes naturally. Getting along with everyone, I have tried. If I have to force it, I can't do it.

Chicken, I just can't eat. If I was starving I would probably eat chicken before I would eat grubs, but I would have to think about it.

Being gay, well I haven't met Mr right yet. For sure, we would have to get along well, and he would have to make a hell of a chicken sandwich.

I wanted to give both a "Haha" and a "Thanks" but I was limited to one. And I totally agree with you on thinking for oneself.

Too bad they still don't have the "Up Vote", I always looked at that as sort of a Like and Thanks.

Do you eat meat at all?  Why do you find chicken so unpalatable?

As for the bold part... would a choked chicken seal the deal?

I usually have salmon with breakfast. Once in a while ham or bacon instead. Usually Tuna steaks, or some kind of beef for dinner.  I actually eat a lot of meat. I shoot for about 170g of protein a day. I actually do like the turkey on Thanksgiving or Christmas though. People say it's kind of like a big chicken, but I don't see it.

As for choked chicken, I have to say no. That would be killing babies.

When you say salmon, I sincerely hope you are referring to Sockeye, and not the pink mush normally available everywhere.  (And if you have never tried Sockeye [aka red salmon], you should.)

Back to chicken... why not?  Did you have a bad experience with it?  Is it the taste?  Just curious.  I like it at least as much as turkey, maybe more.  Haven’t tried iguana yet, though I hope to soon.  Lots of those devilish creatures down here.  I’m guessing the meat tastes like chicken, but is tougher, so would require some special cooking to make it tender.

I love Sockeye. Used to get it fresh caught when I lived on Vancouver Island. It's not always easy to come across in Colorado though. Atlantic is probably the best that's commonly available.

I've never liked chicken, but I remember eating it when my wife used to cook it. At some point, maybe a few years ago I just went off it. I am probably exaggerating a little. She makes chicken soup and I do eat that. If I was really hungry and went somewhere that only had chicken (like Chick Fil A), I'm sure I would eat some. It would have to be the only thing around though.

Gotcha, was just curious.  For me, that avoidance item is bologna.  Ate all I could stand as a poor family when I was growing up.

For me it is ice cream.  When younger, my family ran a dairy store processing milk and making ice cream.  I was over-indulged as a child and now rarely eat it.

We had chicken nuggets for lunch today.

What part of the chicken is the nugget?

New motto, adoptable by many:  "I hate people, animals, and things."

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
