Hi Everyone,

I have an age out nephew. His name is still listed as Accompany on the CEAC. His IV fee has been paid. Due to age out, we know he will not get his immigration visa even he has paid the IV fee (what a waste).

My question is should remove him from the list? If leave his name there, it would create any impact for his parents' visa? We have not completed his DS-260, could this be considered as missing document and deny his parents' visa?

I have tried to remove him from the "Remove Applicant", but it did not work.

Any suggestion?

   I appreciate your help,

Are you sure he is aged out in CSPA terms as well as “real age”?

removing a derivative will not affect the main case. You could also just not do a ds260 or any other process for him. No derivative is obliged to apply or immigrate to complete the principal case.
