Los Angeles County prosecutors say they have charged Democratic donor and LGBTQ activist Ed Buck with running a drug house and other crimes after a man overdosed on methamphetamine at Buck's apartment last week. The man survived, but two other men have died from overdoses at Buck's apartment in the past two years.

Buck was arrested Tuesday night — after months in which activists and relatives of the men who died have called for criminal charges related to the suspicious circumstances around the deaths of 26-year-old Gemmel Moore in 2017 and 55-year-old Timothy Michael Dean in January.

Buck, who is 65, is now facing felony counts of battery causing serious injury, administering methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house.

Our founding fathers considered that fact in their infinite wisdom as they crafted the sacred parchments. Life may seem unfair at times, but that’s why they gave us the constitutional right to whine about it.

I have followed this because I am from the LA Metro area. It is absolutely disgusting and it was covered heavily earlier this year down there (my father has sent me lot of links to articles). You should know that as Buck's behavior came to light a lot of his donations were returned or donated to charity. There are very few people who defend Ed Buck down there.   The sickle is not necessary. The hammer is not some cheesy socialist symbol. It's just to help "persuade" those who don't willingly partake of the tinfoil.

In reading this thread, I don't see anyone mocking Boiler for font size.  Just some trying to make light of some horrible crimes because they were committed by someone who donates a large amount of money to their chosen party.

  I agree, the scheduled suicide jokes are out of line, but everyone seems to be doing it. Even the mods. Probably not as noticeable when it's just an echo chamber.
