So basically I am in a very weird situation. I am the beneficiary and I work and stay in Delhi. My passport has my hometown address(which I have read does not pose any issue with PCC) but my rent lease is expiring this month end and I am thinking of moving back home to spend some time with my family before I fly out and also help with my younger sister's wedding preparations. Just wanted to ask if anyone has had any experience with getting PCC from their hometown while the current address in application is different. Is it a very bad idea or is it ok to do that? I can produce my expired lease and my sister's wedding proofs to support the fact that I am moving back to my hometown. If this is unheard of and unacceptable I can extend my lease and certainly get PCC from Delhi itself. Also I have some time to do it, we have only received our NOA and our interview will not be anytime before December I guess. So pleas let me know your thoughts/experiences/opinions.

You only need one,  so why not wait until later to get it

So its ok if I get it done from my hometown even if its not the current address I registered in the application?
