Hello my mother just got her interview for U.S visa, and the immigration officer told her that I need to have other joint sponsor, but I cannot provide other joint sponsor, what else I can do if I couldn't provide joint sponsor ? my tax return was $21,000 we are 7 people in the house 2 adult and 5 children, ages 15, 12, 9, 7 and 1 year old, we live in a cheaper place, we have very little expenses $400-500 a month, we owned our house, we pay $300 a year on our house taxes, we have 2 cars and a boat and other properties, we don't have mortgage and we don't owe money to nobody, plus we have savings $18,000, is that possible to use the assets to support affidavit of support?

Your income and your assets does not meet the financial requirements of the I-864 to sponsor your mother.

 

You need a Joint Sponsor.

 

If you can not get a Joint Sponsor, then your mother will not get a visa.

Thanks for the responsed, how much should be my income tax return to support the affidavit of support?

You can use (liquid) assets but you’re not even close.  

No joint sponsor, no visa.
