I agree - just wait for the reschedule. While it's not exactly the greatest situation for the IO, I'm sure they have other work that could have been done or to just enjoyed a coffee break.

If it happens twice, don't expect them to be as accommodating. haha Be sure you're there early.

Thank you so much! I know I will be  there super duper early once I get an update/new schedule. I’m so down like couldn’t even feel hungry. But I’m so happy there are people like you guys giving all the encouragements and yes I’m hoping for positive new appointment. It might take another month or two or idk but still just continue to be more patient. It’s not the end of the world, right?

Just like what everyone says just go extra early.  I guessing you guys went to downtown Sacramento?  We had our interview there and our interview time was 10:20am and we left our place at 9 am, travel time is only 30 minutes, there was a slight traffic and with trying to look for parking and going thru security one person at a time, and another line of people for the check in part we didn’t make it to the waiting area for the interview until 10:10, I was already freaking out while we were on the check in line since the lady that was checking in people takes forever, she was chit chatting with people and checking online messages from who knows who. So yeah make it extra early next time. 😀

Hopefully USCIS will understand the situation, and allow you more time for the next scheduled interview, based of your travel accomodations.

Yes definitely,  we should get a hotel in the area. I hope they'll reschedule us. Just need to be more patient.

Yes, definitely.  We will have earlier than yesterday. We traveled from Stockton and when we hit Sacramento it started to get trapped and yes we didn't make it.

Sorry to hear it - must have been stressful! I can also imagine how backed up the roads in that area might have been. Maybe next time try to find a hotel near USCIS the previous night to save yourself some stress? It might be worth the added cost. I am sure it wont be the first or last time USCIS has seen this happen. Good luck.

Yes, I already planned that to get a hotel near the uscis. And when I spoke to the representative it seemed that its not only me. I already rescheduled ,Sent a detailed explanation letter. I hope it'll be okay. Thank you so much!
