What is the best way to contact the USCIS?

Has anyone tried the Online Messaging/E-Request Tool?

It seems like most people call the USCIS Contact Center. What is the best time to call? How long does it usually take to speak to a representative? Can I (the beneficiary) call?

My fiancé and I want to contact the USCIS to make sure that they have the correct mailing address. (We did not receive the NOA1 Letter. We understand that it is not important but we want to make sure that all is well before our time for NOA2 comes.)

Thank you!

Did you try the USCIS website?

Yes, https://www.uscis.gov/contactcenter. We are just wondering which one of the options is the best way to contact the USCIS.

When did you mail the application? Did they cash check? Did your fiancé keep a copy of application? He can check its accuracy. Be patient, everything is a bit longer now.

We got the NOA1 Text Message. We just want to make sure that the USCIS has the correct mailing address.

If there is an USCIS close to your fiance he can do an infopass and talk to someone in person, of course there is calling or emailing.   Lots of options.

There is also an online contact service, there is even a section for IF you did not receive a notice in the mail:  https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do

I would try the online thing first, and if didn't work I would call.

I called them a couple times in the past, there were helpful, They didn't have the online chat thing back when I contacted them.

InfoPass is effectively dead now. One has to call and request it, and then they determine if an appointment is necessary.

If you are inside the United States, you can no longer schedule an appointment online using InfoPass for domestic offices.

Well isn't that a catch 22!   Can only schedule an infopass if you are outside the USA, and then USCIS closes most of the foreign USCIS offices ....

Be sure to also file a proper change of address with USPS.

I called yesterday to confirm an address change. They were nice and helpful. I called around 9AM EST and waited about a half hour for someone.

We called yesterday to confirm an address change and they said it can take 30 days??

Is this correct? luckily I checked our old PO box yesterday and our AP approval was in there.

We changed our address 3 weeks ago.

We did change with USPS prior to this also.

Btw normally call the 1800 # and ask for a Tier 2 agent.

We are in the NOA1 waiting for NOA2 phase. I mailed a hard copy letter asking for an address change and was confirming they received it and updated our I-129F

All you can do is change it with USPS, change it with USCIS, and call to verify.

We have changed with both of them but they still can not verify it yet. It is annoying. Also they are trying to send it to our old physical address and not the PO Box we listed so it will not even forward to the new address (that we have already updated it to). It is frustrating, their system is messed up.
