If you complete the DS-160 and register and pay the interview fee then wait till your file is at the embassy before scheduling your interview. Have you been to the embassy website or read the P3 for further instructions if this is at all allowed from your embassy. Not all embassy's allow this. Just saying.

I did called the embassy all I have to do is send them all my original documents once I noticed they received my case. Then they will call me for interview. In the meantime get all documents together I can only pay the visa fee once they received it.

Nothing gets sent to the embassy prior to the interview.

This is a requirement for Haiti embassy. I called them that’s what they told me to do once they received my case. I am not sure why they are doing it like that

Hi @Greenbaum here is the copy of the letter (“packet 3”) my cousins fiancé received for the k1- (I omitted the personal info)

AMBASSADE DES ETATS-UNIS
 D'AMERIQUE
 PORT-AU-PRINCE
HAITI
 Date: 12 Sep 2019
 ————
 PORT AU PRINCE
 HAITI
Case Number:
Name (P)   :
Dear Sir/Madam:

We are pleased to inform you that we have received the I-129F petition filed on your behalf by your U.S. citizen fiancé(e) under the provisions of Section 101(a)(15)(K) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, as amended. Please read and carefully follow the below instructions.
DOCUMENT COLLECTION:
1) Obtain a valid passport. If you already have one, make sure it is valid for at least six more months.
2) Complete your online visa application (DS-160) at https://ceac.state.gov/CEAC/. Note the visa category is “K.” For any questions that do not apply, answer “N/A” or “Not Applicable.” Print the confirmation sheet that is generated when you finish filling out the form. Retain your DS-160 confirmation number: you will need this to pay your visa fee.
3) Create a profile at www.ustraveldocs.com/ht. Click on “Create Account.” Follow the prompts to select the correct visa category (K) and enter your DS-160 confirmation number when requested. Generate a deposit slip to pay your visa fee. Print the confirmation page of your profile registration.
4) Take your visa fee deposit slip to any SOGEXPRESS and pay your visa fee ($265 USD per person).
5) Obtain your birth extract (“extrait”) from the Haitian National Archives, located in Port-au-Prince. This version is blue, with pink at the top.
a) If you or the petitioner were previously married, obtain from the Haitian National Archives your marriage extract(s) and the divorce or death extract to prove the dissolution of each prior marriage. If the marriage/divorce/death occurred in the United States, submit the original certificate (often called “certified copy”).
b) If you or the petitioner has children, obtain each child’s birth extract from the Haitian National Archives (or original from the United States or other place of birth).

6) If after the age of 16 you lived outside of Haiti for one year or more, or if you are currently living outside of Haiti for the past six months, you must present a police certificate from that place of residence. If you have been arrested anywhere, obtain a certified court record showing the final disposition of the case against you (if you were declared innocent, guilty, the sentence imposed, etc.).
7) Each applicant must submit six photographs (two to send to the Embassy, four for the medical exam). The photos should be 2x2 inches or 5x5 centimeters, in color, with white background, on photo-quality paper. The photographs should not be retouched or altered in any way). The face should be entirely visible and not obstructed in any way. The applicant should not be wearing glasses.
For more information on photo requirements, see https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/requirements/photos.html.
😎 Proof of your relationship over time with the petitioner from the time you met until present. For example, dated pictures of you together, printouts of emails or WhatsApp messages and phone calls to each other, money transfer receipts, boarding passes showing the petitioner’s visits to Haiti, hotel receipts showing where you stayed together, etc. If your children are applying, proof of your relationship to them (photos of you together, etc.)

DOCUMENT SUBMISSION:
After you have collected all of the above required documents, access your account at http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ht/ht-niv-documentsubmissioninfo.asp and print two copies of the “Document Submission Letter.” Fill out this form, which DHL requires in order for you to drop off your documents for delivery to the Embassy. Drop off all documents to DHL between 8:00am and 4:00pm at one of their three locations in Haiti:
Port-au-Prince : 17 Blvd. T. Louverture
Cap Haitien : 164 Rue 5A
Carrefour : Route Nationale #2 Diquini, Immeuble Delimart

 We recommend you use the checklist on the next page. If you send us all of the required documents, we will contact you with an interview appointment date and time with an American consular officer.
 If you do not send all of the required documents, we will send you a list of the missing documents still needed.
Beneficiaries should not make any travel arrangements for departure, dispose of personal property, or make other life changes until the visa has been issued. Applicants must travel to the United States before the expiration date of the visa.
If you have any questions, please contact us via email at support- Haiti@ustraveldocs.com, or via telephone at 509-2812-2929 (Haiti) or 1-703-544-7842 (United States).

When you quote someone and the quote is very long then erase everything but the first paragraph as that will allow anyone to revert back to the original post for further reading but not create a messy thread. Use the "@" sign to use someone nick to correspond to if the post is too long. Thanks.

Oooo that’s fast. What about medical. Will she get result before interview

It's recommend it and expressed by the embassy instructions letter that a medical should be completed BEFORE the interview. You will not get a visa if you do not have your medical completed. So plan your medical just prior to the interview allowing enough time for the results to arrive at the embassy for your interview.

Medical has to be completed prior to submitting the documents to the embassy. She got the medical shortly after the email from the embassy, the “packet 3”

also- their whole process has been VERY slow. They applied July 2018.

Definitely call. You need to get the letter (packet 3) from the embassy before you can move forward - you need to bring that to the medical. The embassy will email you the letter- they most likely won’t send anything by mail

I’m glad you were able to speak with someone. Just make sure you guys have everything ready ($ for medical as well) and once you get the packet 3 letter call the doctor immediately for an appointment- it takes about 3 days to get the results and then you can submit that along with your other documents to DHL.
