Hello VJF!!

I have a question? I received My letter from USCIS today. I have a RFE. I need to send in all the pages from my final divorce decree. Which I have. My question is do I need to submit a final divorce decree from my previous marriage, the one prior to this one, even though it was from the same person? Long story short we married 2x. But on my original petition I did not mentioned the first divorce, just the 2nd one. Since, it was from the same person. I realized this from the RFE master list.

ALL prior marriages regardless

All prior marriages and divorces must be listed and divorce papers for each ended marriage provided. It’s not a case of listing all grooms - so you needed to have listed your ex twice once for each marriage and divorce.

So me submitting first divorce along wth the original one from the RFE will that raise any red flags, being didn’t mentioned it in the original petition?

Here's the instruction for the K-1 petition:

Item Numbers 37. - 39. Name of Previous Spouse. Indicate whether you have been previously married. If you
answered “Yes,” provide the full names of each previous spouse and the date that each marriage ended.

How did you respond? Did you provide both end dates?

No. I only put my lst marriage to my husband, not the first marriage. We were married 2x. One for 10 years and the other for 6 months. I put the last one on the petition. But I only sent the Divorce decree. But the RFE stated send all 24pages. Which I have. But I just wanted to know if it would be wise for me to send the divorce decree from the first time we divorced, being I did not put to divorces on my original petition?

Hello VJF

Thanks for all the information on my recent RFE: Divorce Decree. Now my next question must I submit a cover letter with the RFE, and if so can someone give me some help on how to do it? Thanks!

You don't have to submit a cover letter.

If it were me.........I would submit a cover letter explaining that you were married x number of times,  that you're including x number of divorce certificates with the stamps and signatures, and a statement indicating that you've been free to marry since X date.  You only have one shot to get this right.
