Hi. I filed my 751 through the lawyer I used for my 130 - we didn't have much to worry about with the 751, straightforward case, just figured I'd have the lawyer to dot-the-I's and cross-the-T's and be there for backup if anything goes awry. We live in RI and I'm assuming she sent my case directly to Potomac as that's where my confirmation and extension came from. Just curious if there's anything to know about Potomac as from what I'm reading few people are sending their applications there or even talking about YSC. We filed August 1 and I got my Extension a week later. My GC expires the end of October. My 130 went through Missouri and my biometrics came about 6 weeks after filing and our interview was about 6 months after filing - the case was approved and done with the next day. Honestly, the whole process only took 6 months. So I was kinda stunned when my lawyer told me the 751 - which is a lot easier - will likely take 13 months?! But I heard if you go through Potomac for 751 a) its quicker than other locations and b) your case is considered simple and just working its way through the system - you likely don't even get called for interview. Anyone got any input ??
