Paychecks, no pay stub. Can I send a copy of paychecks?

Hi. I am the beneficiary, my husband is the American citizen. We live in Texas.
We are applying for AOS, and we got an RFE. In the original package we included an employment letter but not his pay stubs - since my husband started his new job in April we thought that 3 pay stubs were not going to be enough.
He is currently training and working for his dad's business. His dad gives him a paycheck every month - from the business's checkbook. Husband currently does not have pay stubs, only paychecks.
In the RFE it says "Pay stubs or other documentation of pay for the previous 6 months".

Would a copy of his paychecks work? We are not really sure how any of these works, and we don't know if we are overthinking this or what.

Did you provide the most recent tax return or return transcript originally?

Yes, but he had a different job last year.

Sorry for replying now. Apparently pay stubs are really easy to produce, FIL had a program on his computer that did it automatically. I was basically freaking our for nothing - which is nothing new in this stressful process... Thanks!

Often the error in these types of RFEs is overlooked.

Which one of the two tax proofs did you submit?

The transcript or the actual tax return copy?

If you submitted the copy it could be hundreds of pages in order to be considered a complete copy. If you DID submit that option that could be the fault right there if you are missing a page of it.

We submitted the transcripts. The Consulate where I had the interview initially does not accept returns anymore because they consider them easy to fake. So we submitted transcripts every step of the way. On top of that, he was not working in the US so we needed a joint sponsor anyway.

Did you file as married filing jointly for 2018?

Did his 2018 reported tax income meet the poverty guidelines for your household size?

If you input his 2019 predicted income in Part 6 Qu 7 from an employment verification letter but didnt back it up with 6 months paystubs that could be why too.

If his job was too new you should have used 2018 tax reported income in Part 6 Qu 7 instead of the 2018 tax reported income.

Does he have 6 months paystubs now?

We were not married in 2018. I came in with a K1 visa and we got married 3 months ago.
As I said in the original post, we did not provide the pay stubs initially because he had only been working for 3 months. Now it has been 6 and we sent them with the RFIE response.
