Hello to everyone,
This is my first post here.
I am from Romania and girlfriend from Portland, OR. We want to get married and would like to know which is the fastest immigration process to US? My friend says Direct Consular Filling might be an option or is there better way? What are the pluses and minues of DCF ?
My girlfriend plans to visit Romania this winter, we'd like to go visit round the country.
We are so new to this, any other information is greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Ineligible for direct consulate filing as it requires the USC to be living abroad and have exceptional circumstances

YMMV

As @payxibkastated, unless your girlfriend is planning to establish residency in Romania, DCF is not really an option.  At this point, I would look at either a spousal visa where you get married and she files for your visa, or a K1, where she files for you to come over as a fiancé and your marry within 90 days of your entry.  Take a look at the guides located on the top ribbon here , and have more discussions with your GF.  There are advantages and disadvantages to both, but in the end, the spousal visa is cheaper and somewhat superior.

Good Luck!

There is no USCIS office in Romania, and therefore no DCF.  Best bet is once married, for her to petition you for a CR-1 spousal visa via the lockbox.

US immigration is not fast, no matter what route you choose.  I recommend you both do lots of reading here on VJ, and ask questions as they come up.  It is a long and expensive process, and you can easily inadvertently create delays for yourselves by not being well informed.

There's always the possibility of DCF but requires exceptional circumstances in addition to residency

YMMV
