Visiting before filing K1 whilst engaged?

Visiting my fiancée in a week, but haven’t started the k1 application process yet. I am visiting her with my parents - when at the border do we just say we’re visiting my girlfriend in case they think we’re getting married or something if I say fiancée? Using an ESTA for this visit as normal.

 

Anyone have similar experiences they can share? This will be my 5th time visiting her, but the first time visiting her for my parents.

Visiting is fine. All you have to have is proof that you have ties to your home country and will be returning there.
