Joint Sponsor Documents

Hello, I’m getting prepared for the next steps at NVC, I’m getting a joint sponsor for my husbands visa but what documents would my joint sponsor need to provide me with? Is it just their 2018 Taxes and proof of US citizenship? Thank you.

• I-864
• At least the most recent year's tax return (tax transcript is simplest)
  • If they are married and file taxes jointly, an I-864A from the spouse is often requested
• Evidence of current income. If self-employed, the tax return shows current income. If they are a W-2 employee, then pay stubs and/or an employment letter would show current income.

Sorry to hijack the post @georwin what if the my joint sponsors wife has not worked in 2018..will we still need the I864A from her?Thanks in advance

I forgot to note evidence of any assets (ownership, net value, etc.), if assets are being claimed (assets are optional if income is sufficient).
