i will be flying to the US on a business/work related trip later this month.

Q: Does it matter if i book one-way tickets for my trips ... i.e. as follows:

1) from CAD >> US and

2) then another local flight within US, and

3) a one-way from US >> CAD?

I will carry all my docs ie. letter from employer, NOAs, bills, bank statements, etc. along. Will this create issues with the immigrations?! I am doing this because I am saving huge cash than doing a multi-destination trip on one itenerary?

I am worried the US immigrations may question alot and I really do not want any issues.

.....

I don't think they concerned with how your tickets are split-up. I think they are mainly concerned that when you go through pre-screening that you have a return ticket, regardless if it is one-way or not.

I agree  As long as you have a valid airline ticket back to Canada and proof of ties to canada and all your paperwork to show you are doing things the right way you are all prepared :)

Good luck

Hi,

I do not think it matter, all they care is that you are coming back.

I travelled to USA while going through K1 process on business purposes all the time, I never mentioned anything about K1, they never asked about it.

All they asked is why I am going, and when I am going back to Canada.

Well if you are going on business then why would the K1 visa question come up? She is going to visit her Fiance also thats why she is booking 3 flights and if this does come up she has all the paperwork to prove that she is doing things the right way.
