Traveling with expired green card and extension letter

That is the issue with the OP, both the 2 year GC and extension letter are expired and they are leaving in less than two days.

The OP knew this well before today. In all likelihood the airline will deny a boarding pass. Otherwise, they will be heavily penalized and fined.

Any idea how this story ended? OP, did you try boarding those flights and if yes were you successful?
