Been seeing there's a slowdown for scheduling cr1 interviews at the Santo Domingo Embassy? Just literally got my documents approved yesterday at NVC and now waiting for interview letter for my spouse. Has anyone as of past few days or weeks received their interview letter yet? And how long did it take?

We got our documents approved last week and are still waiting on an interview letter as well. Any luck yet with yours?

Nothing yet. They just started scheduling interviews for cr1/ir1 category after this slowdown. Last I've seen they are on cases completed in late July or early August. I've also seen that they're done scheduling for October interviews which mean if they keep on track. September cases should be scheduled for interviews possibly November/December if everything keeps moving forward at the embassy.

Seriously! Haha

Luckily i got the ball rolling when I went to see him back in September. I had reviewed all the process and gathered all original docs then

All thats left for us is the doctor visit, the visit to galeria 360, and the updated police certificate that expires every 3 months

Do you have any idea how much the analysis is? I heard it varies and the price on the website isn't correct. My wife is thinking like $500+ USD. when I see others from 250 - 350.

We asked a family friend who has taken others and he filled us in roughly on how much they've spent. We are taking 400$

Mm ok, yeah I've heard the main clinic by clínica Abreu is around 400 - 500 because they don't take the vaccination record there. The other clinic in Bella Vista supposedly does. But that's just word of mouth. I'd have to call. Cause obviously itd be cheaper to get vaccinations done beforehand and only have to do xrays, etc in SD.

So My husband finished his medical visit today. it was longggg process. People were already in line at 2am! By the time he got there (6am) there was already about 80 people in line :o He did not get home until about 6pm. He was informed by staff at the medical place that the process is not more extensive.

He says that the price depends..and type of visa also has to do with payment. kids added to petition add more $.

He ended up paying around 500$ total

Oh wow and he went which clinic? Well, that'll be a fun day for my wife when has her turn. 😂 Did he also go to VAC yet?

He went to:

 Avenida Independencia 254
Corner with Danae Street, sector de Gazcue Sector Bella Vista
Santo Domingo
Telephone: 809-685-1587

Funny thing is we had him schedule VAC appmnt today to, but he missed it. We didnt think the medical would literally take all day!

We rescheduled VAC for this Thursday. They mentioned to him at clinic that VAC is a very quick process.
