For the purposes of immigration yes. Child support / divorce is a matter of family court.

Only from an immigration standpoint.   Family courts will still be involved.

Child support is 100% on the table and even likely.

Spousal support is likely to be minimal if anything for such a short marriage.

Whether that ruins somebody's financial status or not would depend upon their means.
