I 130 Petition - Not sure about Part 4 (Info about beneficiary)

In Part 4 ( ) question number 21 (provide info about beneficiary's current wife, if currently married)  - I went ahead and filled out spouse 1 with my mother's info in my father's petition and my father's name in my mother's I 130 petition - spouse 2 is not applicable, so I left that blank in both, however the very next set of questions (Information About beneficiary's Family, spouse and children) starting from 25 through 28 for person 1 - I'm not sure if I should put the Spouse here again in person 1 (dad's name in mom's petition and vice versa) or should I just start out with children in Person 1? I ask this because they had just asked about the spouse in question 21 and 22.  I know I'm probably overthinking it, either way should be fine but I just wanted to find out how you guys would do this? As of right now, I have myself in person one as the son and my sister in person 2 as their daughter? I can easily make myself person 2 and my sister person 3 and add the spouse in the person 1?

I'd appreciate your feedback  on this!

I-130 for my spouse, and I'm over thinking it, too.

The heading only asks to "provide information about the beneficiary's spouse and children". I assume that means I don't have to provide any information about my spouse's mom, dad, or her siblings.

She has no children, so I only wrote myself again as Person 1, relationship: Spouse.

I'm going to leave Person 2, 3... blank unless suggested otherwise by anyone here.

Thanks,

John

Correct

If you don't have children, then that is correct. If you have children, then their relationship to her would be "step-son" or "step-daughter."

Mother and father info will be asked later on the online DS-260. Sample DS-260 questions: https://www.shusterman.com/pdf/DS-260.pdf Recently added social media question:
