Hi There,

I am currently filling the DS260, When my dad filed this petition many years ago I was married then two years ago I got divorced and as result of my marriage I had three children(all of them reported to NVC), now, I have come to an agreement with their mother to take our children to the US to give them a better opportunity in life and she agreed. Is there any document I need to take with me to the interview other than my divorce decree?

Anyone here that have gone through this process and can share their experiences?

Thanks

No idea how it works where you are but whatever legal document, court order that evidences what was agreed.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

If the divorce decree covers it that that would be all you need.

No

Not really, the divorce decree just states the date we got divorced and that I am still divorced, does not states any agreements between the parties related to children since they based solely on your marital status(Married, divorced) this where the confusion comes from, not sure if the US Consulate will require anything else and have not been able to find any information that covers this case.

Of course the Consulate will require it, they will not want to be involved in International Child abduction and you will want to make sure you have the legalities covered.
