Wow I couldn’t imagine how it must feel not seeing her for that long. I wish I could go in November for our anniversary but I won’t be able I just went in August for 3 weeks. But before that I hadn’t went since November last year. I wanted to try and go for Christmas and New Years since her birthday is the first week of January but the flights are almost $1k 🤦‍♂️ I don’t think I’ll be able to go.

Hey I know how it feels that your husband can’t come to visit you. I haven been there. I husband and I thought that we were going to finish this process by our anniversary but it doesn’t and the best thing that he came on June. I can’t imagine passing more that 6 months without him that’s a lot.
The thing my husband does is that he puts his vacation three months before and when they approve it he buys a ticket for January, it’s a lot cheaper.

Yea it sucks a lot... This will be the 3rd Christmas my wife and I are apart and I wanted to go this Christmas and I don’t think it will happen. I just hope this process will be over soon.

So a new week, hope some people finally get some interviews. This is ridiculous. I have been messaging family and friends in SD to see if they know anyone or of anyone that knows someone who works at the embassy and find out what's going on.

I'm doing the same thing.

- January 18: Documents delivered to Chicago Lockbox

Can someone please explain to me how to understand the bulletin. It’s jibberish to me. Basically I’m a us citizen petitioning for my wife in Dominican Republic and CC was 9/24/19. Does that make me f2a or f2b

In this case if you have been married more than 2 years. Her visa will be IR-1, it not it will be CR-1. That visa is unlimited so there won't be any info about it on the visa bulletin.

A ok cool. That’s what I was told by a friend but needed verification. Thank you. Seems like it’s taking them forever to schedule interviews 🤦🏻‍♂️

So nothing as of yet 😓. My wife and I just feel terrible some people we know got married after we did and submitted a petition and we’re approved and accepted and already together. We really don’t understand what is the problem that we can’t get our case done with. Over a year already with this process and it feels like if we will never be done with it.

9/20

If you're going to the Santo Domingo embassy you have to wait 60 to 90 days from the day of CC.

Just wanted to update everyone that today I heard they are continuing to give out interview dates but certain things have changed. Now they are forcing the beneficiary to get medicinal insurance before interview date that has to be valid for up to a year and proof that they will not be a burden to the US (a public charge). Good luck everyone.
