My file petition was approved on August 23 but up to now no news from nvc its a work visa

We've been at NVC since May 14. 😠

 

Dragging their feet forever. Now the ceac site is STILL having maintenance issues.

Anybody here has been waiting for their spouse to get an interview in Santo Domingo and is US born. I heard US citizens get a little bit of priority is it true. CC was 9/24/2019

Yes me, I am us citizen and my CC was 8/6 and i still have no interview.

Can someone please explain to me how to understand the bulletin. It’s jibberish to me. Basically I’m a us citizen petitioning for my wife in Dominican Republic and CC was 9/24/19. Does that make me f2a or f2b

This whole process has been so stressful. I really thought my wife and I would finally be able to be together for this Christmas and seeing as some of you have been waiting for the interview longer than I have I don’t think that’s going to happen now 😓.. Since we’ve been married we haven’t been able ti be together for the holidays due to the flights being crazy expensive and also thinking that we would get our interview.

Where can I see this bulletin? I’m in the same boat as you I’m a us born citizen petitioning for my wife and stepson.

Tell me about it. After my wife's i130 got approved it was smooth sailing until now. Just waiting on these interviews. I'm going to the DR in Nov. For a week for my wife's birthday after having not seen her in a year and a half.

Wow I couldn’t imagine how it must feel not seeing her for that long. I wish I could go in November for our anniversary but I won’t be able I just went in August for 3 weeks. But before that I hadn’t went since November last year. I wanted to try and go for Christmas and New Years since her birthday is the first week of January but the flights are almost $1k 🤦‍♂️ I don’t think I’ll be able to go.
