write them on the page in the upper right hand corner if you mail or scan anything to Immigration (all pages of everything )

You know the name of any Arab appears over and over /i have met 4 other moroccan men with the same name as my husband

Names like Mohammed,  Adil,  Hamid,  Youseff are used by so many

unless you want a page or 2 lost with all the other documents in these offices

the lawyer who submitted our 1st CR1 did this so i knew to do it thereafter

I have printed the case# petitioner's name and applicant name (not handwritten) on the top hand corner of every page of every document, but I was concerned about doing that on official USCIS/NVC forms such as I-864. Do we have to do that on that form as well as the supporting docs? Thanks!

Hi, Can I combine Fed Tax Return PDF with W2 (2 of them) and (1)1099 PDFs? Thanks

Yes, of course.  However, for the actual interview, it is best to take tax return transcripts.

Thank you! On a separate note, Is it okay to check box #1 and #4 (self-employed) in Part 6 of the I-864 form, even though my regular 8-5 job income alone is above the guidelines for my household size? Thanks in advance!

My lawyer even put it on form G28 (government form)

just do not put it in any space that says (for USCIS purposes only)

Just to confirm:

If I check both boxes 1 and 4 (self-employed) in part 6 of the I-864 form, should I also send them a copy of my

- Independent contractor agreement

- RE License

- Copy of the pay stub(s) of the commission check(s) I've earned so far this year in this part time "side kick" job I have :)

Knowing of course, that I did NOT include that income in my CURRENT INDIVIDUAL ANNUAL INCOME in I-864, as per your earlier advise/suggestion. AND as stated earlier, my regular (W2) job ALONE exceeds the poverty guidelines for my HH size.

Please Advise

Thanks!

P.S. by checking that box 4 (and being truthful) looks like I'm unnecessarily opening up a can of worms :( and having to send more docs, which they may or may not even need... That's my concern.

The devil is in the details.  If they can see the self employment on your 2018 tax return, then they see the impact to your line 6  total income.  If this is something new and temporary, then there IS NO "INCOME" from contract work (self employment) UNTIL it shows on a tax return.  If this contract work is new this year don't include it.

Ask the wrong question and you're likely to get the wrong answer.  This is not a "sidekick JOB".  It's contract work, meaning not a job, but a "business".

Good Point! I call it a side-kick  b/c it's a truly a part-time business where I only work a few weekends to supplement my income. To answer your question, I've had some RE income in 2018, but it only represents a fraction (Approx. 3%) of my total 2018 income, for which I'm including the 1099 along with my W2 and 2018 tax transcript). I've also closed a couple of deals this year, which will represent about 7-8% of my total 2019 income. Obviously I won't get a 1099 for that ill Jan/feb of 2020. So I guess my question is do I have to send them my independent contractor agreement, my RE license and  pay stubs of the RE checked Ive received this year? The Instructions seem to insinuate that such docs are only needed if the regular income does not the poverty guidelines, which is not applicable to me, so should I send those specific dos (in bold) or not. Thanks for all help Sir.

You called it a side-kick JOB.  That's why I gave the wrong answer.  It's not a "job".  The answer to your question is no.

Got it, but making sure... So I'll check boxes 1 an 4 on the I-864 (for full disclosure), but I don't send the above docs for my RE business. Correct?

If you check self employed you would need to document that.  Since you don't currently have self employment "income".  Don't check it.  I told you to check it because you said it was a JOB.
