Questions about Green Card interview

Hi!

My Green Card interview is October 8th in Phoenix, AZ. I just received the letter and have a few questions.

Some background: I came to the US on a K1 visa in October 2018 and we filed for I-485 (AOS) in December 2018.

Question 1:

The letter says to bring "A completed medical form (Form I-693) and vaccination supplement in a sealed envelope (unless already submitted)"

I had my medical exam + vaccinations done in August 2018 and we already submitted the part of the exam with vaccination papers when we sent the AOS package in December (they only request those). So is that enough for the interview or do we need to bring something else or maybe a copy?

I know K1 filers don't have to get a new medical exam if they file AOS within one year of the medical check (mine is 4 months later) - just want to confirm this and also know if we need to bring or do something else. The medical exam I got also isn't called "Form I-693" but I assume it covers the same and is just the one for K1 filers?

Question 2:

The letter says to bring "Completed affidavit of support (Form I-864) with evidence such as MOST RECENT tax transcript or W2’s, employment letter, sponsor's proof of citizenship (unless already submitted)"

We added all of these things in the AOS but do we still need to bring new, more recent versions of these or are we good since it was included back in December 2018?

Thank you so much to anyone who can help!

Correct, if the K-1 medical was marked complete: https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-8-part-b-chapter-3 "K or V Nonimmigrants Applying for Adjustment" Bring a copy of the K-1 medical.

To be safe you can bring updated I-864 and supporting documentation.

1. Bring your personal copy of the DS3025 Vaccination Record that you received from your overseas Panel Physician. You should have submitted only a photocopy with the I485.

2. If your financial situation changed (it would have because your spouse would have filed 2018 taxes in April 2019, hopefully as Married Filing Jointly with you as their spouse) bring an updated I864 and supporting financial documents that reflect the change. They may not ask for it but it's better to have it.

Hey nadiachr13

Just came across your post, and wanted to say congrats on almost being at the end! I just wanted to ask how long it took to get your interview letter in the mail after you had the "your interview was scheduled" notification online?

We are in Phoenix AZ as well, and we got the notification Monday evening... any input would be great! Thanks!

It was ready to be scheduled May 15 2019 and then we got our interview letter late August/early September (and the interview is October 8).

Good luck!
