Thank you for your prompt response! What's a visa application? Is it the "IV application"? is that same as DS-261? Thanks

Thank you! Is that the same thing as IV application? Also, if you click on Start to fillout the IV application, can you save your work and finish it later? is there a date that must finish filling it out by?

Question on this bit... What would one use for the Facebook username? Your displayed name (first name, surname) or the email address you use to sign in with?

Hello,

1. If you click on Start to fill-out the IV application or I-864, can you save your work and finish it later?

2. If 1. above is possible, is there a time limit to finish filling out the form you've started and saved?

3.  If I want to upload additional supporting docs (i.e. photos, airline tickets, mutual bank accounts, etc...), for trips that occurred AFTER we filed our I-130, where exactly do we do that? under (or along with) petitioner's financial docs? or under (or along with) applicant's civil docs?

4. Ive read somewhere that USCIS does NOT send every doc and supporting files you've submitted to NVC! Is that correct? and if so, should I upload all photos and supporting docs to prove  our bona filed marriage to NVC, so the can send ALL those docs to the consulate?

5. Once you finish filling out DS260 or any document you fill-out online, BEFORE submitting those forms, can you view the entire doc and print it, so that the applicant can take it along with him/her on the interview date?

6. If you fill-out I-864 ONLINE, how can you sign it? Do you print it, sign, scan and then upload it?

Thanks

You should familiarize yourself with the guides here.    You won't will out the IV application until directed.  You can download explars off of the DOS site or from other sources.  You do not file the I-864 online.  You do not submit additional evidence unless requested to.

Are you sure the I-864 is not filled out ONLINE?! That's not what been reading in here! The issue with relying on some of the "guides" I've found on VJ is that most of them were written almost a decade ago! Furthermore, the stuff one finds on DOS is pretty generic and does not address the specific process questions I have asked above, which I think only someone who has gone through the process in recent months or has been following recent updates/changes may be able to address. They keep changing things like crazy, as I'm sure you realize! Thanks

If you use the DOS site, use the pages for your country:

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process.htmlhttps://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process.html

For the I-864 you can fill it out online or by hand, sign it and scan it.  Then you upload to the NVC.

Always use the most current form(s) from the USCIS website.

So someone should use their real name on FB and just not part of their name  which includes a "nicname"? If it needs to be changed what be the correct to change it,  suddenly or before the NVC interview stage?

Thanks for any answers.

At the 2nd stage of the process (see the guides drop down box above for complete instructions),  the Moroccan will fill out the ds 260 asking for all social media sites used

always best to know how immigration defines and uses this so check the USCIS  government site  (this is immigration)

https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Enhanced Vetting/CA - FAQs on Social Media Collection - 6-4-2019 (v.2).pdf

by definition Social media are interactive Web 2.0 Internet-based applications. User-generated content, such as text posts or comments, digital photos or videos, and data generated through all online interactions, is the lifeblood of social media.

so, any site you have used in the past to send and receive messages,  talk,  view videos,  or send your photos will  be needed to be listed.  there is a drop down list on the form but they need all sites used in the last 5 years  even if you deleted them.  the form only  asks for user name of all profiles /  not the password
