Does anyone knows if all new process are going to be IOE? i saw people getting IOE and normal process too, but if they still sending IOE cases they have to be able to support it.

IOE just means it is electronic records, either scanned or online.   Eventually all forms will be filed online but can use paper as backup.

IOE cases are part of a pilot process- an electronic process they are testing out on certain people/cases. Not everybody will be part of this, but as something they are testing out, I'm sure that is their ultimate goal for the future. Also, as we have learned the hard way, just because they assign these IOE cases does not mean they are able to support it. This seems to be something started by USCIS without fully including the NVC - hence the huge delay in many of our cases. Based on new information, we are assuming that NVC is now able to process these cases; however it is still not as efficient.

*I could have physically walked my case from the Nebraska Service Center to the NVC in New Hampshire and back multiple times in the time it took them to electronically transfer my case.

Hello everyone

We filed our case in March of 2019 and got approved June of 2019.  Our case is a pilot electronic process and our case number starts with IOE.

It's been over 7 months since our case was approved and NVC has not received the case. I've called uscis and nvc for explanation and they simply say I have to wait for the case to be sent to nvc.  I've gotten my congressman to assist but hasnt been of any help thus far. Are there others who are on the same boat as I am ?

Nearly 8 months and our case hasnt been sent to nvc. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello. I have a quick question if you dont mind answering.

When I received the email from nvc it stated that I benefited from the pilot electronic process etc... and said that it may take longer than 30 days for the transfer to nvc but they stated "Despite this delay, please rest assured that we expect the overall time between filing your petition and completing processing with NVC will be far faster than average for this petition type."

From my interpretation they are saying that although it will take longer to transfer our case to nvc,  the petition will be processed far faster at nvc than non pilot petitions. Is this the case with your petition? Can you give us any updates on your nvc stage processing?

Thanks in advance

That wasn't really my interpretation, but I think I may have just tuned out as soon as they they I had "benefitted." I hope that is the case though.

I submitted my NVC paperwork on 01/07/2020 and requested to have it expedited on 01/15/2020. I have not had any updates yet.

@LarryDay do you have any insight?

I received my approved NOA on June 25, 2019 for an IR5.  I received the NVC email 1/21/20.  It took seven months.  I also kept emailing UCIS and NVC for case status the entire time but always received the generic email response.
