@LarryDay I've been trying to find out how long it actually takes a supervisor to respond to those service requests. I thought the service request would go straight to a supervisor, but after two weeks I received an email saying that the update is that it's now being forwarded to a supervisor. Is your 40 day count from the original day the request was made or is it from that 2 week email mark?

Hi...40 days was an estimation but i have looked up the actual timeline.....

9/12   filed the last service request via phone

10/4   received a letter stating a supervisor would review case and action would be taken within 60 days of receipt of the letter.

11/2    email from NVC...case received

11/5    email from NVC....case number and Invoice ID!

Been a long wait, but things are moving fast now.  Coincidentally, I'm in my wife's country visiting her as we receive this good news.  😀

Hi, just a quick question on this service request via phone... was this with the NVC or USCIS?

You received your case number three days after the case was received, that is fast. Tomorrow will be three weeks for me and I have not received a case number.

Anything new with anyone?  Updates if anyone's case finally reached NVC?  I'm having the same issue and was told I was also part of the piloting program.

I'm still waiting myself.  I've been told the following from my pestering of the USCIS and the NVC

1) NVC is begining to process these petitions, but there is a backlog

2) USCIS has my petition in line to be sent ( not sure where I'm at in this line)

It looks like the best place to escalate is with the USCIS.  I submited another request and asked my congressman to follow up with them as well.  Hoping it resolves the issue, but I'm sure I'll be told I'm still in line.

Hey guys....our IOE petition was approved by USCIS on 4/1/19 and I'm very happy to report that its finally been received by the NVC......7 months later.

If you're waiting in limbo like we were, don't lose hope.  Just keep escalating and work the process like others have posted here.  Good luck to you all.

We had a little over a 8 month wait for ours to get to NVC. Our petition was mishandled and not forwarded after being approved. We had only received the approval document with case not forwarded. I have document the provides their error. I am hoping the rest of the process goes well without any more hang-ups.. smh

Hello,

I'm in a similar boat with an IOE case number; our priority date was 03/25/2019 and our notice from USCIS came on 09/10/2019 stating that we had been approved and case had been forwarded to the NVC. It's now over 3 months later and we have still heard nothing from the NVC. Do y'all feel like contacting your congressmen sped up the process or are we just stuck in a long limbo no matter what? I've called the NVC a number of times just to hear the exact same words that were in their email stating that we are "benefiting" from a pilot program.

Thank you,

- Justin

I contacted my congressman October 4th. Received the exact same email NVC sends on Oct. 21st and the following response from USCIS on Dec. 17. No help for me except that it gave me peace of mind that I've done everything possible.

According to USCIS records, this petition was approved at the Nebraska Service Center (NSC) on July 9, 2019.  An approval notice was sent to the petitioner at the address of record on July 10, 2019.  Please note that the estimated timeframe for the receipt of this approved case at the U.S. Department of State may extend beyond the timeframe mentioned in the approval notice.  From a recent update, we are informed that this and many other Form I-130 cases processed by the NSC through the USCIS Electronic Immigration System (ELIS) are being prepared for digital delivery to the State Department’s National Visa Center (NVC).  If you choose to follow-up with the NSC or NVC after approximately 60 days from the date of this email message, an additional case status update may be available. The Electronic Immigration System (ELIS) processing of your constituent’s Form I-130 application cannot be changed

I've contacted my congressman again.  I'm having them follow up with both the NVC and the USCIS.  I submitted another service ticket to the USCIS on 12/13/2019.  I received their response today which I have copied below

We have received your service request and researched the status of your case.  The case was already annotated for consular processing.  Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a definite time frame on when the case will be sent to the National Visa Center.

I got the same exact responses!  So annoying!  I also got this email from nvc a few days ago.  Apparently the system to accept the pilot petitions is still not ready, based on the email:

We are contacting you regarding your recently approved immigrant visa petition. Based on your USCIS receipt number, your case benefited from a pilot electronic process for the I-130 petition. USCIS reviewed and approved your petition faster than average cases of this type as we develop the fully electronic transfer of data from USCIS to the Department of State.  We thank you for your patience while we continue to refine our process with these electronic petitions.  We wanted to alert you that it will likely take longer than the 30-day timeframe mentioned on USCIS’s approval notice to you. Despite this delay, please rest assured that we expect the overall time between filing your petition and completing processing with NVC will be consistent with the average processing time for this petition type. When we complete the data entry for your case you will be notified by email or letter.  This will include instructions on how to log into the Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC) to begin case processing with NVC.
