my petition and all letters r in the name of my name with married sirname

but my passport is in the name of my pre marital sirname

will it be a problem in interview ?

should i get my name change in passport done,

It would be good to update your passport as soon as possible to avoid potential problems later. Better that everything is the same.

If you don't have time to change the name on your passport, you can take your marriage certificate to show why you have the new married name on your petition.

You should contact the embassy/consulate and ask them. My passport is also still in my maiden name and my consulate (Amsterdam) told me that as long as the passport is valid for 8 months it's no problem.

i was really tensed regarding this coz the new passport definetely takes time in our country

i will contact the embassy tommorrw n make the new one if it can be issued soon

the urgent one takes 4-6 weeks n non- urgent ones takes months

so i will better start working on it now

mon i know u r right here but the biggest proble is my court marriage certificate also has my married sirname along with my dads name i mean its like

wife : mala "efghi"

daughter of: sunil "abcde"

efghi is my married sirname

so in my marriage certi also the sirname is married one
