Good day everyone and VJ family.

just an update on my K1 visa process , so received my case number October 1st which contains the details of my case some few Instructions.

I tracked my case on the site and it shows ready I have gone ahead to pay for the visa fee and schedule an appointment but I haven’t received my packet yet from the embassy .

I also notice they say you come along with DS 160 form unfortunately I have an existing profile on the portal so while filling I only updated my records like my passport number and expiry date  of my passport .  Now i have printed an appointment page with my previous details 😐😔😔 Does that would pay mean i would pay for another visa fee just so i use the bank ref number that would be given for a new application or the same ref number can still be used ?

Please what should I do next ?

1) Do i send the embassy an email requesting for my packet which contains the instructions?

2) since I couldn’t get any DS -160 form printed out how do I go about it knowing I already had a profile there I used for my B1/B2 visa application 3 years ago .

Please guys I need your expertise on this .

Thank you.

I replied to you in another thread.

a) apply for new DS160, get a new AA number

b) in ustraveldocs site, you need update profile with new AA number.   System bug does not allow you to update when applying in K-1 situation, update by pretending to apply for F-1 or NIV and click UPDATE PROFILE to change AA number.  Then go back to K-1 new application.  You will have new AA number in your profile already .
