Schedule Appointment

Hi everyone,

 

does anyone have an idea when is the best time to schedule an appointment? I’m afraid of freezing my account again. Where can I check the availability of date? Is that even a possibility?

I used to check daily using my account until I found an acceptable date to schedule

Thank you, does it show somewhere the available dates? Because when I select the date for OFC and click continue, it says no dates available and asks me to go back and select a new date. That’s how it froze in the first place

when i booked mine it gave me first available date on left side of the screen. even on home screen i think. Then i had to keep on selecting new VAC appointment in order to even see that 'available' appointment for interview.

I looked multiple times per day for available interview dates, since when I looked first, all appointments were already given away to other applicants. Sometimes, people reschedule their appointments and then there is suddenly a free day if you are lucky. I found it the easiest to look at the calendar they provide. Every time when there is a dark blue marked day, there is an available appointment on this day. When they are light blue/grey, there are no appointments available. 

Note that you can only refresh the page about 8 or so times per day, before the website does not let you continue until the next day.

hi,

i tried doing that and also clicked on the blue box but kept telling me to go back and choose another date. That’s how it froze

I've been checking 3 times a day for the last week and there has been nothing.  (It made me fear that there was something wrong at my end)  But this morning, they published ONE available date without only 17 slots.   October 25.  So I took it!  Apparently beggars can't be choosers.

Hey, I got the date around 10am .. but it really doesn’t have a specific time... log in every few hours to check starting around 9:30am ... don’t log in multiple times within 2 or 3 hours .. or else it will freeze your account. Lemme known if you need any further clarification

Did you call the nvc and get your case number and then book your interview or did you wait till the embassy contacted you regarding the interview?

Getting an interview at the Mumbai Consilate is so difficult as well. 

Also did you get packet 3 and 4? How long till they sent it to you.
