Hi guys I did my medical exam last week and I wanted to share my experience. I didn't have any past medical or vaccination records so I ended up paying about $280 (28k), I got  3 vaccines measles, tetanus and flu. Once you get the vaccines you are given a vaccination certificate which is an important document that you'll need when you travel.

The medical process took about 4-5 hrs. You start at the reception, then counseling where they pretty much brief you of everything they will do, then a blood and urine test for some STIs, next was the chest x Ray , then a nurse examination pretty much asking you medical questions like if you've ever been admitted in a hospital etc, then check your height and weight then next was the doctor examination who examines your body  and lastly the vaccination.

My experience at the medical center was overall good . The staff are very friendly and happy to help. The process is very systematic and easy.

Hey my dear,  please when you call the embassy in Nairobi which number do you use?

The numbers I would find would be out of use. I did email them one time and it was like an automated message that gave generic information. I kept emailing them back at that address and finally a person wrote me back. That email address is essa_contactus@visaops.net. Is there something I could help you with.

I just wanted to give them a call and find out the time range of which they will open up the calendar for an actual interview date.

To be honest, I don’t think the people you would talk too would know. This is what I emailed them about. Another member here called The embassy at the same time about this same topic. We both got the exact same message, “check back the first week in November. We will be releasing dates for December and January.” I think we contacted them around beginning of October. We talked about it on this post. So getting same message this is what happened. Now remember they said new dates the first week of November, they released dates on October 18. Then again November 15th. I know it’s not what you wanna here but, you’re just gonna have to wait this out. I will say this though, the embassy there opens at 715am. I work a weird shift so I’m up at that time. So I checked it every day when they opened and every hour after until I fell asleep. Both times (pay fee and interview time) I first saw available times were Friday between 8am-9am Nairobi time. I would be checking right now actually. Good luck. There is an end in sight
