How about MA legal 10 round magazines and practice reloading like this guy? He only fires 2 shots since the reload is what is being emphasized, but you get the idea. Is this an assault weapon?

Beto O'Rourke takes on Meghan McCain over gun rights amid gun control debate after mass shootings

WASHINGTON -- Former Texas Rep. and Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke is pushing back against Meghan McCain's recent assertion that implementing a mandatory buyback policy for assault weapons -- which O'Rourke has proposed -- would lead to violence.

I highly doubt many people would participate in a mandatory buyback. These people live in a dream land

I've got several handguns but no "assult rifles".  All this talk about buybacks and bans has me thinking about buying one while I can, just because.

Looking at the Ruger AR-556 which can be purchased new for under $500.  Don't know where I could shoot it or when.  Just seems like I should buy it now.

Don't come to my house unannounced.

I started out with nothing, and I still have most of it.

I went bald but I kept my comb.  I just couldn't part with it.

Why? Wouldn’t you trade your AR for McDonalds gift certificates? Or maybe a year membership in the jelly of the month club?

I’m not sure how relevant an event that was primarily a mass suicide really is to the current topic.

Just to point out though, most of the people who tried to leave Jonestown of their own free will were prevented from doing so at gunpoint, not by Kool Aid.

24th Infantry Division from Ft Stewart guys had to go down there after the fact and retrieve bodies, I was quite glad my unit was not selected for that duty ....

Not something I’d ever want to do, especially on that scale. Even an accident or something, you can chalk it up to fate and move on after a while. Something like Jonestown, just knowing that so many of them chose to “voluntarily” end it like that, I think that aftermath would not be easy to deal with psychologically. Not for me anyway.

Might need to keep half of this thread away from Walmarts and other areas of mass public gatherings LOL
