Yes I hope so too!

I have seen other people who got the "ready" notification later than already got their interview date.

Guess I'll just have to wait for my slow local office 😛

Yeah we have to wait but I’m not complaining yet because so far so good my case is going in a pretty good pace..In this one and a half months since I’ve started this whole process I was able to do my state drivers license which I’m very grateful for that was important for me so now I’m OK😄

Ahh ok but it's not really anything to get overly excited about there can still be many months or even over a year till the interview  at my local  office (Dallas). Yours is coming..

My husband is a LPR and I am an F1 student. We filed concurrently as F2A visa category is current and I have already done my Biometrics on the 10th of October, but I received an RFIE from USCIS asking to provide evidence that my petitioner is US citizen. Any suggestions on what to do because he isn’t a citizen but a LPR

Honestly, I thought only US citizen can sponsor green card. LPR can’t. I could be wrong. Good luck.

Just an update - it was a Request for Initial Evidence. They want two things

- Copy of my long birth certificate ( I have already sent this before, I even sent both long and short from the UK general registrars office )

- proof that petitioner is a US citizen

anyways our lawyer has sent and response and they should receive tomorrow. I think it’s all a delay tactic!

I received RFE for birth certificate. Similar to yours. I m hoping it reach there tomorrow as well. Keep posting if my updates.

Right now the category for spouses of LPR is current, this means that  LPR can file concurrently for their spouse if the spouse is maintaining legal status in the USA on the day that the I-130 and I-485 were filed.

This thread is for K1 and probably most of the people here won't know what to do with your case. Try asking in the right part of the forum.
