Hi

We’re one of those stragglers who filed in late September with checks cashed in October.

A question: our attorney, who has been known to give us incorrect info, said that the picture of the cashed check available through our bank would show the receipt number on the back, in the endorsement section. It looks like the checks was cashed electronically (ACH) and my bank doesn’t  show an image.

For those who paid via check, do see a pic of the cashed check on your bank website? I’m guessing it will be another week or two before we receive the NOA1 in the mail.

Thanks!

This is what i see when i look at my uscis check transaction.

No image is available for this check because it was processed by the merchant as an electronic transaction.

POE - 26th JAN 2014(DFW)

Applied for SSN on 14 th FEB and recieved on 27th FEB 2014

27th FEB ELIS status optimised

4th MARCH production of new card began

7th MARCH card produced and mailed through usps priority mail

Your check image will only  be available  for a few days online if that. You'll have to request  it and there is usually a charge, but it depends on your bank policies. Once you request it they will send it in the mail. Is your timeline correct?

OK, 3 plane tickets and $2,005 dollars later, fingerprints all done.

A 10 minutes process.

But it's done and we are staying with my nephew, so my wife gets to see an "American" family!!

For other checks I write (not many anymore) within a few days I can view front/back of check but not for this.  Even now I see the line item in my online statement but nothing to click on to see the front/back of the check.

CLUAE, thanks for that update. Sounds like the online case status updated for you guys within 24-36 hours after biometrics?

For others who went through biometrics recently, did you have similar experiences?

I searched VJ and it sounds like having an online case status update within 1-2 days after the biometrics appt. is hit or miss. Apparently sometimes the case status never updates until there's either an RFE or interview scheduled, which could be months...

Thanks and best of luck to all!

My status updated exactly 24 hours after the biometrics. For the most part the update after biometrics is pretty fast.

Thanks, Sarge. For us, it's been nearly 48 hours since the biometrics were captured, with no online update either via the case status tracker (which doesn't require a login), or the status shown when logging onto the USCIS account.

I've heard our local office (San Jose) is slow, but a bit worried that they may have confused our numbers. The ASC seemed rather chaotic, so I can easily imagine a dozen things going wrong. Oh well, hoping for the best!

I understand, but get that out of your mind, your status update will be along  shortly, just a matter of time.

No update - just finger print review completed and case received on new and old website but Informed delivery says I have something in the post from USCIS today. I hope it’s not an RFE! :(
