biometrics done, San Antonio ASC, we got there an hour early, no problems with letting us get started waiting early, in and out about 45 min. easy peasy lemon squeezy, now we are in a virtual line for the dmv....

SA is my filling office! Is it yours as well? Going for my biometrics to Austin tho. You mentioned DMV. Are you getting DL in Texas without GC....how?!

That's great! Maybe we will have similar interview date! 😍 And will you be able to get Texas ID? I went to 2 different DMVs this week and they refused me as I need to have GC or EAD

Let me know how it went! I brought that document with me for the second time with my NOA and they told me that they want I-797A as that one has expiration dates. The reason why they can't take this NOA1 is that there are no experation dates

My lawyer sent out our package last Wednesday (September 25).

I received texts from USCIS at midnight today with receipt numbers for each form!! Can't believe how fast that was! Great start to the weekend 😊

Very good nice start yes!

thats why i printed out that entire list and have it circled, there is nothing in the list itself that says it cant have an expiration, and it it is crystal clear that the NOA IS valid. full stop. the person at the office you spoke to did not comply with their own procedures and rules.

Alright, so I'm part of this group now. Sent out all of our forms Sept 24th, confirmed it was received by USPS on Sept. 26th. No text, credit card charge, or anything yet. Realllllly hoping it didn't get lost at the offices, I just want to get in to the queue already!

Very good it's  coming have no fear!

The same thing I did. The same reason I went to 2 different DMVs and talked to USCIS it about it as well. I'm just telling you my experience, she couldn't put me through they system. Hopefully your experience will have better outcome

Also the problem is that the list only mentions I-797 not I-797C as our NOA1. Apparently there are more Notices of Action and the one they want (even they should mention it in the list) is the one with experation dates. Let me know if they let you do it as I might do SA trip for that for sure haha

I have it that's one of the requirements but they didnt wanna do it without GC or EAD (or as the ladies mentioned , in different DMVs, something with experation date)

We sent our forms 11 days before you.  We only just saw the check cashed this past Monday and just received our NOAs in the mail today.  So don't fret.  Yours is on the way.

As for texts, I fill that stinking form out every time and I have never EVER received a text from them.  So, as far as I'm concerned, any person on here who says he/she got a text is a big fat liar.  ☺️

Okay, that makes me feel a little bit better. I know things move slowly there and semi-randomly, but always good to see others go through similar timelines!

And I actually got a text on the K-1 application, so I know it does work! But who knows who knows this time. I just keep checking my credit card to see if I get charged. My bank is probably wondering why the sudden increase in log-ins! 😂
