Thank you for your informative response. I did a little more research and realized filing EAD under K1 visa exempts me from paying the $85 biometrics fee. I do have a follow-up question on the AP fee though. Kindly tell me if I am understanding this correctly (see boxed items):

The table of fees + bulleted list is confusing to me, sorry...
Does the above mean 1) I disregard the AP fee indicated on the table; because 2) As long as I have a pending AOS, filing AP is free of charge even if I submit the AP form separately?
Because if the answers are yes and yes, I can't tell why they would indicate the $575 in the first place. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding something... 😕

If you are filing the three forms (AP, EAD & AP) concurrently you are exempted from paying an additional fee for both the EAD & AP.

So you can disregard the fees attached to the EAD & AP.

It is better you file the three at once otherwise you will have to incur the cost attached to each form.

The $575 was listed for those who choose to file separately.

Phrasing it differently....where did you put the number 1 if you are in 2 people household? (It's just me and my husband)

In Part 5, put 1 under items 1 and 3. Put NONE under items 4, 5, 6 & 7.

Put 2 under item 8.

You can use a black pen to write 1 under item 3 if you filled your form before printing.

Possibly a dumb question but in the first post it says "certified copy of marriage license" and the USCIS website says copy of marriage certificate. So I just want to make sure certified copy of marriage license is fine?

Hi All!

Mailed it today (09/09/2019) to RV, since I am working with them.  Should arrive to their office Wednesday and hoping it can be received by USCIS before the end of the month.  Cheers!

Maybe a lil dumb question....how did you "incorporated' your passport pictures in the file? I have 2 pictures x 3 (AoS, EAD, AP). Did you put them in the back behind every form or did you clip them to the forms somehow? Thank you

Do you mean certified copy of the marriage license or marriage certificate?

Sorry, misunderstood your question 😅 we sent CERTIFICATE. Marriage License is the paper that allows you to get married. Marriage certificate is the paper you get after you get married that proves your marriage.

We put ours behind each application (2 per application) by taping a zipper plastic bag to a white piece of paper and dropping the pictures inside, then zipping the bag.  Try not to use the bulky zipper bags with the zipper at the top.  We labelled each picture and each bag with his full name and A# in case they got loose or something.
