Congratulations I know it's  been a long  haul for you. Take a few days off celebrate, then start preparing for your ROC and gathering more documents and proofs. Get a shoebox or large  cellophane bag and start dumping your ROC proofs inside until you are ready to apply. That's  what I  have been doing!

Yes! The officer said the same.  We are ready!  We walked in with everything under the sun we had since K1, so we were ready to pull everything!  Also, the whole house thing came up and, since I knew how to explain it, it was no issue at all!

When can one apply for naturalization?

Are you in USA through marriage?

Yes I am

Then you are eligible for citizenship around the same time you file ROC (removal of conditions).  It should be after 3 years of marriage and holding documentation.

I will not go through ROC process because I have approved for a 10 years green card. So can I apply for naturalization after 3 years?

Like @Sarge2155 said, as long as you are still married to the same USC.

Looking at your timeline you are a K1 AOS  that particular visa and subsequent AOS does not issue 10 year GC. Did you get a 10 GC as a result of your K1 AOS? I could  be wrong though.

Yes I got 10 years. Because I celebrated my 2nd marriage anniversary before I was scheduled for the green card interview.

For marriage based AOS it doesn't matter what visa they're adjusting from. If it's less than 2 years between marriage and GC approval date, a conditional GC will be issued. If it's more than 2 years between marriage and approval, a 10 years GC will be issued and no ROC.

Timeline

Received my Green Card in the mail today. After almost two years, my journey of waiting for my gc has come to an end. I have become a permanent resident od the US as of Dec 2,2020.

I wanna use this opportunity to wish all those waiting for their green card or EAD best of luck.

The process is frustrating but never give up on hope, for your moment will surely come.

I will still hang around and I know most of us will cross path in 3 years time if all things been possible.

Once again best of luck to those waiting.
