We both work in the same company and our health insurance is provided through the company so we have our  separate health insurance. My hubby thinks the evidence is enough but i am concerned.

I hope i get approved

You will!

@ConnorSIf yours was in the batch with ours, they were picked up today by USPS - according to the USCIS app.

I'm not sure how I check that, but fingers crossed 😅

4 months after I applied for my EAD renewal, they just scheduled me for a biometrics appointment, even though I already have my green card. I hope they can use this biometrics for my I-90 too.

Either the app or the website lists a tracking number once it is picked up by USPS.  We got ours today.  Btw, it is EAD only, no AP.  So, God only knows where our AP renewal application ended up.  I am glad we got the GC interview two Tuesdays from now.  Otherwise, I would be freaking out.

You can probably help me. I'm filing for my EAD/ AP renewal and am wondering what to put under my current status. AOS pending? And my category is still c9, right?

Yes, category is C9.  Under the current status, I have seen a lot of people put different things, but it is a safe choice to put the AOS pending or I485 pending, or even spouse of USC.

Thank you very much. I've seen this question and the answer so many times before but sure enough my time comes and a) I get super insecure and b) can't find any of these posts anymore 😂

I know, so frustrating.  I don’t think it matters on the status because later in the form you say and you show you have a pending 485.  Additionally, you submit the marriage certificate. So, is a moot point what you write on that field.  I also think USCIS just looks and processes according to the officer that takes it (our AP renewal is MIA), who knows if they even look at that.

Hey guys, I have the interview on Thursday and just wanted to do a checklist.

I am bringing:
- passports
- interview notice letter
- marriage certificate
- birth certificate (+translation)
- pictures together
- joint bank account statements together
- 2019 tax returns (+wife's employer's letter)
- joint phone bill
- joint lease for the apartment

Am I missing anything? I decided not to re-do my medial as advised above, and I am bringing the instructions for i693 that state that I am not required to re-do the medical.

Also, does everybody get the CF1 category? Im thinking if I should ask the officer about that to make sure it does not get messed up like in Ayrton's case..

Lastly, how long did you usually wait for the card since the interview? Is it a matter of a week, 2 weeks, a month?

Thank you,
I will update you on Thursday and describe how it went!

@mark08 not done mine as yet still awaiting my interview but from the many, many, many experiences I have read on here, it looks like you have everything in order, best of luck.

@Fe.Ta my EAD renewal just updated today to say it was in the post, but I also got a letter from them in the post today as well confirming both my EAD and AP have been extended, so wierd how yours didn't come as a combo card

Hi Mark! Just had my interview Monday last week. I brought the same documents based on your list. I did not redo my medical since it’s not required from us. There are previous discussions from this thread regarding that. I was approved the same day (like 30mins after the interview. My status changed to “new card being produced”. Though the interviewer said it would take 3-4 weeks for me to get a decision from them. I think that’s their generic “response”. They will give you a white paper after the interview about that). I received the notice of approval today. Would probably receive my card within the week since they already shipped it. Good luck on your interview :)

We never got NOA for AP renewal, so I am sure they just clamped everything together as if it was EAD, even though they were separated with sticky notes and cover letters for each, because they were in the same envelope.

I am just glad at this point it is a moot point.  Otherwise, I would be more upset.
