Has anyone else noticed that those with children do not get passed through the grind as those without children at the AOS interview?  I don't think I need to give birth immediately to proof I am in a bona fide marriage and answer 100 more questions because I am childless.  Anyways, another pain of this whole immigration thing.  But, wanted to see if anyone else noticed it.

Received my GC today. But, the card still shows my old name even though I gave the officer a court order of name change and I sent another copy to NBC. And my old name is also misspelled on the card, exactly like my EAD that I had to get a replacement. When we think it's over, I now have to file a I-90, and it can take years to get a new one...

If it's not one thing it's another! File your paperwork soon as possible.

Oh man, I’m so sorry. I wonder if the same will happen to me... I have applied using my maiden name and asked the officer if I could have the GC with my husbands last name and he was very eager to make an observation for that.

if I get it using my maiden name I might honestly just give up on changing my name until time to remove conditions or citizenship...

How long did it take for them to get you a corrected EAD? And did they charge you?

ps: doesn’t look like I’ll receive my card today, hopefully tomorrow

EAD took 2 months. But I didn't need to file a form like I-90. I-90 has a processing time of almost 1 year.

I also believe the category is wrong. My greencard says CR6.

Isn’t CR6 the conditional GC?

For people that Adjusted from K3, that don't even exist anymore. For K1 it should be CF1.

Just submitted the I-90 online. I just hope it doesn't take as much time as the timeline on their website.

I-90 also requires biometrics, and guess what, I never received a biometrics appointment for the EAD/AP Renewal I filed in July. Such a mess...

Did you ever receive the EAD card? I filed for renewal too and I didn’t had to get biometrics done again. Or is it because of the name change?

I never received my EAD Renewal card. My biometrics were not reused, probably because of the name change.
