Congrats!  Keep us posted.  Best of luck!  Also, did you get NOA for the renewal forms?  We filed ours around the second week of October and got delivered by like the 14th.  Yet, we haven't received anything.

No they have not. I also did not receive a courtesy letter and yes I included 3025 in my i-485 packet.

Then you are good to go with JUST your 3025! Why did you do the 693?

It has been three weeks since we submitted the renewal without any receipt notification.  Should we be worried?

I wouldn't worry. Took them 4 weeks to send me text confirmations for combo renewal and over a month to receive the NOAs. This was in September 2020.

I guess I was being too proactive and paranoid. lol. And there is so much conflicting information and some io ask for it some dont, so I chose to do it just in case they ask for it. :)

We got a text last night saying our renewal has been received and NOA1 is on its way.  We should get it in the mail in the next few days.  Hooray!

Had the interview today. It was kinda weird but probably the easiest part of the process.

We waited about 40 minutes before being called. The officer asked for our passports, birth certificates, marriage license. I also gave him a court order saying I changed my name, but he barely looked at it.

He asked if I had a new medical. I said no because I wasn't required to do so. Then he asked for photos of us and other documents the showed both our names. Then he asked me If I have been arrested, been denied entry to the US and when was the last time I entered the US. All of that without making any comments.

Then he asked my husband about his job. We told him he got a new job after the initial application, so we gave him a new affidavit of support and a new employment verification letter. He also asked if I was working, I said yes, and gave him my employment letter.

He finished saying everything looked good and we would get the card in the mail in 2 weeks.

I reminded him one more time my name changed and asked if I would receive the card with the new name. He said: "Oh right, can I see the court order again?". I showed him again and he wrote down the new name. I also showed him my new SSC with the new name.

He said again we would get the card in 2 weeks.

The interview was probably only 5 minutes long.

Congratulations!!!

Not really. The officer just confirmed my yes/no answer. I had visa denial before and she ask the dates which  I dont remember but was on DS-160 form for the K1 Visa to which she said shell look it up later. Other than that, she just asked us to narrate our whole love story (from when we met up to the proposal).
