ASAP -  Hi, im filing for EAD and AP renewal with pending AOS and there's a question under part 3, 4c DISPOSITION .What should i write there? Do i write renewal,or expire? Need an answer from anyone who already renewed it. Thank you

That question doesn't apply to you.

4a, 4b, 4c is only if you had a reentry permit or refugee travel document issued before. That's not your case.

Congrats to all of you!   We guess we may be the last ones in this discussion that will get stuck with not having anything happen for a while.  YAY FLORIDA! :(

Could someone please clarify something for us?  About the October 1st-2nd deadline for EAD/AP renewal not to have to file with fees each time you renew.

We submitted our AOS back in September 2019 and got our EAD/AP February 2020, so we are getting ready to mail the renewal.  If we mail it after October 2nd, does this mean we have to file it with fees?  Or does this only apply for people who will be sending their first application and, therefore, will need to pay fees each time they renew?

Ugh!  So frustrating.  Then, I see others that got approved for AOS within 3 months (J1).  Haha Oh, USCIS, how interesting.

No, it will still be free for everyone that filed for AOS before Oct 2nd.

Thank you!  Also, for I-131 we have form dated 04/24/19 and for I-765 08/25/20.  Are these still accurate or should I check the website again?  It seems if we get the one from August postmarked prior to October 2nd, then we don't have to worry about it.

Always check for  the most recent versions of the forms you submit before you submit. You never know when they will change.

Yes, I just did that with the USCIS website today and it looks like the 08/25/20 version is good if postmarked by October 2nd.  The 10/02/20 versions is available for preview but it is not released yet, so we should be good.  Thank you for your response.

My original interview was April 7th. I submitted my EAD/AP renewal early July and got approve for that early September.

If I use UPS and I mail it on September 30th or October 1st, since they are not postmarked, is the shipping date considered as the postmark September 30th or October 1st and, therefore, considered as being prior to the October 2nd deadline?

Wow in either case that's close and I would not even attempt to give you an answer to that, reason being the clerks at the lock-box or how long your package sits there. USCIS has been erratic and even if your package made the deadline USCIS is app to reject it anyway due to error. In theory the answer is YES according to USCIS, but as I said they are erratic and not consistent. Packages have been rejected due to UPS and FedEx shipping dates. Really the only way to be sure is using USPS, but they are more erratic than USCIS.
