Wow. That was fast.

Did you receive a letter stating they would reuse your biometrics? I didn't receive that. I only received both NOAs and a letter with the USCIS online access code. The status online also doesn't mention anything about biometrics.

Yeah I did receive a letter stating theyll re use my old bio. Maybe thats why it  was fast. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks, I believe I didn't receive that because I changed my name, and the name on the new application is different from the name on the previous card. So I might need to do biometrics again.

Where do you see that DC is still closed?

I called them 1 month ago. Now they are working but they told me my appointment could take 8 weeks more to be scheduled.

my name is not in the electricity or internet bill because we overlooked it.

Also do we have to make a new affidavit of support and add my son to the defendants? Do I need to go with my employment letter and pay slips too?

Thank you!

The new card is valid for 1 year, but the effective date should've been from the expiration of the old card.

I guess it depends on who prints your card.

Yeah, that's what I thought was strange too.

Yeah it does on the first page

Question:  On the website, there is a I-765 worksheet on top of the application form.  Do we also need to submit that?

You mean the top for uscis? The form says where you should start from.

No, when you go to the link for I-765, there are several PDFs listed and one of them is a separate one that says "worksheet".  When you open it, it starts like this:
