My GC was issued in April after the interview was cancelled due to Covid, however, the status on my account has now changed back to interview scheduled!

I was waiting for another person before I posted. This same thing happened to us. GC was issued in April after a canceled interview. Status now reads interview was scheduled even after GC has been issued. We are at this moment trying to contact someone to explain this, but deep down inside I feel we are going to have to go to an interview because of how they are approved. If nothing else to gather documents for their files. I will post any information I get from USCIS here. Please you do the same

I thought of you as we were in the same position back in April with the Dallas office! I had a feeling this would happen but no problem, I'm prepared to attend as I was back then. I'll keep you updated with what I receive in the mail

I figure if I don't receive anything in the mail within the next few days I'll attempt to call them. So far this is 2 of us both from the Dallas office

Looking likely. I'm just glad I'm here, I couldn't imagine being in the K1 process and being separated all these extra months. Trying to look at this positively now!

Please keep us posted.  I really hope this is not the case for either of you, especially you @Sarge2155.  But, I am glad everyone is prepared, nonetheless.

Well I expect the worst, not a huge deal as we are equipped with what they would want. Just a strange way to do things.  Thanks again my friend.

Would anybody be able to give an updated list of what they have put together for their interview in these new times?  I have a list of a while back, but want to make sure I get any updated information or things you have added now that there are more delays and it allows for compilation of other documents?

Good luck to you all.

While we did have the interview and received GC a week later, our Adv Parole appl with Social Security app was canceled since it was now moot.

Problem, we have is that the social security offices in Alaska are still closed 4 months later, so have not been able to apply for or get social security numbers.

Aren't they accepting mailed application? NYC is still closed but they are accepting mailed application. I just sent mine to update it to my new name.

I saw online that the ones in Alaska are also accepting mailed application. I know you have to mail in her original green card, and that's risky. I had to send my EAD, but it is what it is.

That would be too simple.

I spoke with them last week and they are still not accepting mailed applications in Alaska.

Maybe try another office in Alaska, or offices in Washington. I saw you can apply for SS card in any state.
