Download Packet 3

Does anyone know if Packet 3 and Packet 4 checklist can be downloaded from New Delhi embassy embassy? I know what I need to send but I am concerned about the checklist. Mumbai has it on there site but I can't seem to find it on New Delhi's.

I haven't found a downloadable Packet 3 checklist, but the New Delhi Website points to the Department of State for more information - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/ty...types_2994.html

Perhaps one of the kind VJers who has gone through New Delhi can post up a scanned copy of Packet 3?

Unfortunately, I have not gotten anything yet. They told me that Packet 3 was mailed to my wife and my lawyer on May 24th. My lawyer has not received it and I can't imagine it making it to my wife in India. My wife is sending DS-230 Part I, two copies of DS-156, two pictures and copy of her passport to Delhi tomorrow. These are the instructions I got from Mumbai embassy. I hope it is OK. I am hoping that they receive in next couple of days and schedule the interview in July.

Well, I read here somewhere that it doesn't hurt to mail Packet 3 if you do not receive it. So, I am having her send all the documents. Let's see what happens.

So, you don't think it is a good idea to send this?

i think if the mumbai embassy has told you its fine sandeep

aslo if it is mailed on 24th may it may take time

she should send the packet to embassy no harm dont worry u r fine

You might also want to add to the bottom of your list a Statement section, such as the one I saw on the Mumbai Packet 3. I would change BMB to NWD though.

Well, she sent all the documents via DHL yesterday. Does anyone know what day(middle of the month etc) embassy schedules the interview.
