Interesting, the rep I had was very patient with me and looked it up and said my wife was in the system under pending. I'm just at the 4 weeks mark and waiting. I might just head into the office and check up on it. Will report back if I do.

Did you go also to Temple?

Nope, I haven't gone to the office yet. Sorry, NYC based, but I called the 1-800 number to check on the status.

You aren't supposed to wait so long. When I find the thread what are you supposed to do, I'll post it here. After I did what was said in that thread, I had my SSN in the mail IN A WEEK!!!

Thanks for the feedback. I was't sure how long to wait and I couldn't find any posts about it, so I've been patiently waiting for it. I'll try to stop by the office next week and get it cleared up.

Do the same think as they did. I did that and it worked for me like magic. They say to wait at least 4 weeks but they issue it much faster. I waited, had to fill new petition and still pending. Did what they did and my SSN was in the mail in a week.
