I'll need to send the I-134 or I-864 over to my co-sponsor tonight depending on which one is appropriate. What's the difference between the two ? I'll do some research now on google while waiting for the forum's advices. Any advices would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

edit: forgot to mention i'm going through the Vietam consulate.

so far I've found this:

http://faq.visapro.com/Affidavit-Of-Support-FAQ19.asp#Q52

52. Should K-1 fiance visa applicants use the I-864 or the I-134?

Since fiancés are nonimmigrant visa applicants, they should use the Affidavit of Support, I-134. They will need to submit an I-864 to USCIS when they adjust status to conditional immigrant in the U.S. after they are married.

Q: Should K-1 Fiance visa applicants use the I-864 or the I-134?

A: Since fiances are technically nonimmigrant visa applicants, they should use the I-134. They will have to submit an I-864 to INS at the time of adjustment of status in the United States, however

Thanks aussiewench,

I've been looking at the same page for the last 2 days and it doesn't have any mention of the I-864. I guess the I-134 is the right form.
