Hi Everyone,

im new here, I was trying to schedule my appointment this morning with the receipt number given for payment. The site asked me to choose an appointment date for the OFC and when I selected a date it mentioned there were no appointments available for that day and told me to go back and choose another date. This happened a few times and eventually said I reached my maximum tried. As a result my account was frozen and says it would take 72 to activate. Can anyone please advise what should I do? Also I am worried since my initial petition approval is only valid till 1st week of November. Will this affect me since I have to wait to schedule my interview if I get a date only after the expiry?

any help is really appreciated.

I'm guessing that you are trying to schedule your or your fiancé(e)'s K-1 Visa Interview. You can either wait the 72 hours out or call the U.S. Embassy or Consulate where you or your fiancé(e) will be interviewing at and ask them to schedule your interview over the phone.

Yes I’m trying to schedule my K1 interview. Thank you for letting me know. I did not know I could schedule interviews over the phone. Appreciate it

I'm not sure if the U.S. Embassy or Consulate where you or your fiancé(e) will be interviewing at does but I have been able to schedule a visa interview over the phone.

By the way, as far as I know, the validity of your I-129F will be extended if there are no available interview dates before it expires.
