I plan to send the package of removing conditions on 2-year green card on August 12 2007. In my package, I have joint checking account with my wife. However, we never used that account at all. So there is no history activities in there. And we opened that account for almost 6 months already. Will that joint checking account create a problem if there is no history activities in there? We also have a joint health insurance and life insurance in the the package. So if I have cancelled the health insurance and life insurance. Can I still include the old health insurance and life insurance in the package? I don't know whether the USCIS would call the insurance company to find out that our insurance service is still available?? Or they just look at the paper work only?

Assumingly that I have cancelled the the insurance service. Should I order a new health insurance and life insurance so that my package for removing conditions on green card would be more strong ties and current.

Thank you for your insight.

Give them evidence of your marriage. A joint checking account that has never been used is not it, neither are cancelled insurance policies. I wouldn't order new policies now either as it could be seen as not characteristic for the marriage. Use instead tax returns, proofs for a common homestead etc. If you feel weak on the evidence, add affidavits of aquaintances.
