I took my wife there when she got to USA, we had to pay like $100 doctor visit and then $30 for a one month supply of pills.  She had no insurance, I didn't find them to be reasonable or affordable.

 

I can get birth control pills in Philippines with no prescriptions for $4.

I saw a doctor and got birth control for free because I had no income at the moment. When I started working and didn’t have insurance, they only charged me a small amount for the medication

Local Health department provides low cost BC. A former gf of mine use to go there for BC and also one can get free condoms. 🥳

Probably different state and different rules. We are in Texas
